What This Warranty Covers

Elevate Home Specialists is proud to stand behind your premium system installation with our Elevate Lifetime Comfort Shield. This comprehensive protection plan covers both labor and parts required to diagnose and repair mechanical component failures on your HVAC system for as long as you own and occupy your home—provided all terms of this agreement are met.

This is a limited warranty. Elevate Lifetime Comfort Shield does not guarantee repair or replacement of the entire HVAC system in all circumstances. Elevate’s obligations are strictly limited to providing covered labor and replacement of covered parts, subject to all exclusions, hour limits, and termination conditions in this agreement.

This warranty applies exclusively to systems installed to Elevate Certified Installation Standards and maintained under an Active Premium Membership (Elevate Premium Protection Plan).


Your Responsibilities to Keep This Warranty Active

To maintain your Elevate Lifetime Comfort Shield, you must:

  • Maintain continuous, uninterrupted enrollment in the Elevate Premium Protection Plan (Premium Membership) with all payments current.
  • Complete all scheduled maintenance visits as required under your Premium Membership.
  • Use Elevate Home Specialists exclusively for all service, repair, modifications, and refrigerant handling on the covered system.
  • Maintain the system in the original installation location (residential use only).
  • Notify Elevate Home Specialists of any system issues promptly.

IMPORTANT: If your Premium Membership lapses, is canceled, downgraded, or becomes inactive for any reason, this Elevate Lifetime Comfort Shield terminates immediately and permanently. Reinstating your membership does not reinstate coverage.


What Is Covered

This warranty covers both labor and parts for:

  • Diagnosis of covered mechanical component failures.
  • Labor to repair or replace failed system components.
  • Replacement parts for covered components (see exclusions below).
  • System labor associated with approved warranty claims.

Parts Coverage Exclusions: While most system parts are covered, the following major components are NOT covered under this warranty:

  • Heat exchangers
  • Compressors
  • Coils (evaporator and condenser coils)
  • Reversing valves

Note: These major components remain covered under the manufacturer's parts warranty. The Elevate Lifetime Comfort Shield covers labor and all other system parts not listed above.

Coverage applies only to mechanical failures under normal residential use while you maintain an Active Premium Membership.


What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Refrigerant cost (labor may be covered; refrigerant remains a separate charge).
  • Extended refrigerant leak searches beyond standard repair scope.
  • Damage from acts of God (lightning, flood, fire, storm, hail, etc.).
  • Power surges or electrical issues originating outside the system.
  • Physical abuse, tampering, neglect, or modifications not authorized by Elevate.
  • Rodent, pest, or environmental damage.
  • Corrosion due to environmental factors.
  • Cosmetic damage.
  • Systems used for commercial, rental, or non-residential purposes (unless approved in writing).
  • Failures caused by lack of maintenance or missed Premium Membership maintenance visits.
  • Any service, repair, or modification performed by anyone other than Elevate Home Specialists.
  • Damage to building finishes, furnishings, or personal property resulting from system failure, water leaks, or condensate issues.

Labor Hour Limitations and Repair Authority

  • Each covered repair is subject to a maximum of 4 labor hours per incident, including diagnostic and repair time. Any labor time beyond 4 hours may be billed at a preferred Premium Member rate.
  • Elevate Home Specialists retains sole discretion to repair rather than replace equipment and to determine appropriate repair methods. Customer preference does not override Elevate’s professional judgment.
  • This warranty may not be combined with promotional labor programs, third-party extended warranties, or other discount offers.

Ownership and Transfer

  • This warranty applies only to the original purchaser at the original installation address.
  • This warranty may be transferred one time only under the following conditions:
    • Transfer must be requested within 60 days of property sale closing.
    • The new homeowner must enroll in and maintain an Active Premium Membership.
    • Upon approved transfer, coverage extends for one additional year only, then terminates automatically.

How to File a Warranty Claim

To file a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Elevate Home Specialists and request warranty service.
  2. Elevate will verify:
    • Active Premium Membership status.
    • Maintenance compliance under Premium Plan.
    • Service exclusivity (no third-party work performed).
    • System eligibility and failure cause.
  3. Elevate will inspect the system and determine claim eligibility.
  4. Management approval is required for certain high-cost repairs.

Warranty claims are not automatically approved. Elevate reserves the right to inspect the system and deny claims where system condition indicates abuse, neglect, third-party service, or non-compliance with warranty terms.


Coverage Termination

The Elevate Lifetime Comfort Shield becomes void and terminates permanently if:

  • Your Premium Membership lapses, is canceled, downgraded, or becomes inactive.
  • Any scheduled Premium Membership maintenance visit is missed or not completed.
  • Any service, repair, modification, or refrigerant handling is performed by anyone other than Elevate Home Specialists (including home warranty companies, insurance providers, or other contractors).
  • The system is relocated from the original installation address.
  • The system is modified without written authorization from Elevate.
  • The system use changes to commercial, rental, or non-residential application.
  • Any misrepresentation, falsified information, or fraud is discovered.

Termination is permanent. Once voided, this warranty cannot be reinstated.


Important Legal Information

  • "Lifetime" means the period during which the original installed equipment remains at the original installation address, remains in residential use, and remains covered by an Active Premium Membership, subject to all void conditions in this agreement.
  • This warranty covers labor and covered parts (excluding heat exchangers, compressors, coils, and reversing valves) and does not extend or replace any manufacturer parts warranty or guarantee system life beyond manufacturer specifications.
  • Major components (heat exchangers, compressors, coils, reversing valves) remain covered under manufacturer warranty terms only.
  • No Guarantee of Uninterrupted Operation: Elevate Lifetime Comfort Shield does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the HVAC system or any specific temperature, humidity, or comfort level. Normal wear and tear, minor performance variations, and temporary outages during diagnosis and repair are not grounds for any claim beyond the remedies described in this warranty.
  • The remedies described in this agreement are the customer’s sole and exclusive remedies for any claims arising out of or related to this warranty or the covered system. Elevate Home Specialists shall have no other obligations or liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elevate Home Specialists’ total liability arising out of or related to this warranty and the covered system shall be limited to the lesser of: (a) the original contract price paid to Elevate for the covered system installation, or (b) the amount actually paid by the customer for the most recent 12 months of Premium Membership fees.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elevate Home Specialists shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, loss of business, personal discomfort, or damage to personal property, even if Elevate has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Elevate will respond to warranty claims within a commercially reasonable time frame.
  • This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina.
  • Any disputes arising from this warranty shall be resolved in Greenville County or Pickens County, South Carolina.
